Sk8 Mafia x Asa Akira x Van Styles Collabo Skate Deck

Awhile ago I was introduced to the good people of Sk8 Mafia through my friend Blair who works over at Transworld Skateboarding. After some time of talking Sk8 Mafia brought up the idea of doing a collabo skate deck. The idea would be for me to do the photography of a Porn Starlet that would used as a image for a skateboard deck. I loved the idea.
After sometime they gave the green light to get this done.
It was pretty tough selecting a girl for this project due to the fact I wanted it to be a girl who would really be into the idea and not brush it off.
I have known Asa Akira for awhile and she has openly admitted that she loves the skateboard community/lifestyle.
We shot some photos and I found a few that they might be into and submitted them. Turns out they liked one of the photos and now there is a skate deck.
This is really cool to me being that I have been skating or almost 18 years now and to have one of my photos on a board is an amazing feeling. They will be in stores soon so keep a look out for them. If you wish to buy one through me please feel free to email me Van@VanStyles.com

Rosemary Radeva

So since I have some scenes in the can figured I should keep blogging about them. This is Rosemary Radeva, she is a 21 year old from southern california. I had the honor of shooting her very first scene for my upcoming pro/am project. She works at bank of america but skipped worked this day to do her first porn scene, but by the look of this girls sexual energy it was hard to believe it was her first scene. She did a great job and I am sure when you guys see what she is capable of you will agree too.

Zoe Voss

So I am working on a new Pro/Am series for Metro. This is a fun project since I have never shot one before. In doing so I came across Zoe Voss. I believe when I shot her it was her 5th or 6th scene, but needless to say she is still really new to the porn business. I had a great time shooting her since she comes from mainstream modeling. Not sure how soon the dvd will be out since I am working on editing it now but here are some photos from the shoot. Enjoy!

Joanna Angel

So this is Joanna Angel. If you don’t know her already then you must not go online much. She as a cool site called BurningAngel.com that she owns and operates and has been doing so for awhile.
We met about 5 years ago when we were both directing for LFP publications,I was shooting for Hustler and she was shooting for VCA.
About 8 months ago I got some strobes and she was kind enough to let me practice using them with her as the subject model. I figured better late then never to get a gallery up of her. So enjoy.

Val Arkenstone

So a couple of weekends ago I got a chance to revisit P-Rod’s private skatepark with my friend Nigel and Val. I have known Val for a few years now and it’s been cool to seem him continuously develop his skills over time.
I happen to have my camera with me this day and figured I would take some photos. You can see the rest of the gallery here and definitely keep a eye out for this stylish skater.

Jenna Haze

Today was another fun filled day working for Jenna Haze/Jen X Studios. Today Jenna decided to multi task while being a performer as well as a director today.  You can really tell she loves her job and she does it well.
I got to pull out the strobes today due to bad weather but got to have some fun playing around with lighting. I think I still prefer natural lighting.

Monique Alexander

Today I had the pleasure of working with Jenna Haze as she directed another great scene. Today’s female talent was the lovely Monique Alexander whom I had the opportunity to shoot a couple months prior for Jenna’s upcoming girl/girl movie “Meow”
I love working with Jenna because she strives to have her movies look and feel different which offers some great creative outlets for me both through videography and photography.
Can’t say much else about the scene but when it drops I guarantee you will enjoy it!

Miami to Vegas

I got invited to go on a road trip with the great crew from Moneytalks.com/Reality Kings to go from Miami to Vegas for the AEE Expo/AVN award show. The trip was only 4 days stopping in Tallahasse,FL,New Orleans,LA,San Antonio,TX
Phoenix,AZ and finally in Las Vegas,NV
The bits that we shot should be up on the Moneytalks.com site in 3 months or sooner.
